Enjoy a guided walking pub tour with the London Pub Explorer through the backstreets of the historic City of London
The walk, taking four and a half hours, will visit four magnificent City pubs (some of which are always closed on weekends but very kindly opening especially for this exciting one off tour)
Come along to drink in hundreds of years of history whilst enjoying few drinks in traditional settings where the past is tangible.
This walk includes commentary from the LPE with a sprinkling of history, architecture, analysis of London pub culture that provides a window into a bygone way of life and time.
Please note that this is strictly an adult’s tour, and every ticket holder must be over 18. Children, including babes in arms, pushchairs, buggies or strollers are NOT permitted. The pubs we will be visiting do not allow minors. If you are fortunate enough to look youthful, please bring some ID with you. Other than guide dogs, animals are unfortunately not permitted.
Tour meeting location:
Directly by the Wellington statue, 1 Cornhill, London EC3V 3ND
Exit Bank Underground station, on the Central Line, from Exit 3 Cornhill and the statue is just outside the Royal Exchange
Maximum tour walking time 45 minutes
By purchasing a ticket for an LPE pub walking tour, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
Once a ticket has been purchased, it is non-refundable or transferable.
The tour goes ahead regardless of the weather. No refunds due to inclement weather are given.
The walk will depart promptly at the advertised time & will not wait for late-comers. In the event that a ticket holder misses the walk no refund will be given. You are strongly urged to check TfL in advance for weekend engineering works that may affect your journey.
The London Pub Explorer holds public liability insurance, but the organiser shall not be held responsible for accidents, injury, loss or damage to persons or property as a consequence of participation on a walking tour
Each ticket holder is responsible for their own safety during the tour and is expected to remain vigilant when crossing roads, entering and exiting venues and consuming alcohol.
The organise reserves the right to cancel the tour if a minimum of 25 tickets aren’t sold. If in the unlikely event this occurs a full refund will be given or the ticket(s) can be used for another tour.
